Sweet Pea and The Amplifiers

Sweet Pea and The Amplifiers is a 4 piece band performing originals and covers. Singer/rhythm guitar player Sharianne Whetstine and Alex Bowling, electric guitar player have cowritten songs dating back to early 2000s. Sharianne and Alex played in a band prior to this band named Splynter. Splynter performed originals and covers and recorded an all original album in 2002. Sharianne "Sweet Pea" has just recorded a 12 song all original album recorded in 2024.  "Sweet Pea" and "Metalex" are joined by Nolan Eastwood on drums and Darrick Day on bass as the Amplifiers performing old and new originals as well as old and new covers of many genres. Sweet Pea is a local of Brown County. 

The fan base is also old and new with some fans that have grown from being a baby or a toddler in the beginning who are now young adults. The hair may be turning gray but the love for music remains the same. 

The story is one of a love for creating music. The children grow up, our children have children, but we continue to write songs that capture the listener with catchy, chilling, soulful raw lyrics set to a wide variety of grooves and swings that will make you tap your toes and sway and sing.
